Pose a question to the forum.
What is your power company doing to know how much power you are pushing out to the grid.
This question came about when I asked for a print out to see what they were getting from me. The power Co. printout was actually in electronic format. The file was in a CSV format. The times when my power systems were pushing the meter backwards would show on thier file as "NA".

That lead to a message posed to them. How do they know what I'm giving them. They stated that they are looking at setting up dual meters for monitoring the powergoing out to the grid.

It some place is using a meter that allows readings in both directions. I would like to hear more.

I have no way to prove or disprove anything right now.

That is what touched this off. The concern has made it's way all the way to the director of thier engineering group as well.

Engineering nor the accounting department had no idea that the data that was sent out was showing NA when the power was pushed to the grid. It could be that the extraction sent to me only has this issue. if not then I wonder how they have been basing my bill for the past 3 years.

I'll let you know what they finaly decide. One of thier ideas is a second meter base for the solar in parrallel to the house.

We have a small municipal electric utility, and they don't even know how to read our net meter correctly, much less how to bill us accurately. Moreover, they don't even know that they don't know. It would be amazing if they had any clue how much power we're pushing out to the grid.

The TED 5000 is not accurate. I have two MTU's - one reads 11% high, the other 17% high.

I get a reading every month of the difference between this month and last month for both peak and off peak usage. It is easy to see how much I am adding. If I make more than I use the reading is negative....
