Hello,
I just installed my new 5048U in place of my Xantrex SW4048. Since I am using it in an off grid configuration is there a way to tell the inverter that the batteries are fully charged?

It always says they are about 34% even though they are 100%. I don't have the optional shunt and current sensor and I don't need it since I have a Trimetric 2020. I rarely ever discharge the bank below 85% soc and today the inverter shut off because it got below 15% on it's reading.

I set the preservation mode parameters all to zero so I could use it without it going into preservation mode. So is there some way I could tell it that the batteries are 100% when they are or is there a way to completely bypass the preservation mode so when it thinks the batteries are too low, even though they are not, it won't shut off?

I initially set it up as 1 SI OG. Should I have set it up as 1 SI PV instead? In this mode will it still let me charge using a generator if need be?

Never mind. I just took a piece of cat 5 cable and used one of the twisted pairs and attached it to the shunt that the trimetric is attached to and wired it like the book shows and now it works fine.

I also set the inverter to 1 SI PV.
